Leo is listed as age 6 in the 1910 Carter County, MO census and born in MO. Retired Ellsinore timber worker. Leo had 37 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren when he died.

On June 14, 1924 when Leo Jessie was 20, he married Mary Anna NORMAN, F, daughter of Lemual Potter NORMAN, M (January 14, 1878-April 19, 1959) & Nora Belle CARNAHAN, F (1883-1942), in East St. Louis, Illinois. Born on May 25, 1907 in Ellsinore, Missouri. Mary Anna died in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Butler, Co., on October 20, 1964; she was 57. Buried in Whites Mill Cemetery, Ellsinore, Carter Co., MO.

Alvis Leland RAYMER (Nettie Belle RODGERS2, Charles Wesley1), M. Born on December 19, 1905 in Ellsinore, Carter County, Missouri. Alvis Leland died in Deltona, Florida, on October 29, 1991; he was 85. Buried in Whites Mill Cemetery, Ellsinore, Carter Co., MO. Occupation: Barber in St. Louis, MO. Education: Little grade school. Attended the White's Mill School in Ellsinore, MO. Religion: Baptist. Deacon and youth athletic assistant for Fourth Baptist Church, St. Louis, MO.

Myrtle and Al moved from St. Louis to Deltona, FL in 1974 to be closer to their daughter and her family.

On October 31, 1927 when Alvis Leland was 21, he married Myrtle Bell WEBB, F, daughter of Robert Andrew WEBB, M (June 6, 1878-July 8, 1969) & Ida Harriet HICKAM, F (May 11, 1886-March 13, 1969), in Van Buren, MO. Born on May 28, 1909 in Hunter, Carter County, Missouri. Myrtle Bell died in Apopka, Florida, on December 5, 1998; she was 89. Buried in Whites Mill Cemetery, Ellsinore, Carter Co., MO. Occupation: Housewife. Education: Some gradeschool. Attended the Upper Ten Mile School near Hunter, MO. Religion: Baptist. Taught young adult Sunday school classes for many years at Fourth Baptist Church in St. Louis, MO.

Myrtle B. is listed as age 6mos in the 1910 Carter County, MO census.
Obituary
.....Myrtle B. Raymer daughter of the late Robert Webb and Ida Hickam Webb, was born on May 28, 1909 at Hunter, Missouri and departed this life on December 5, 1998 at Apopka, Florida. She had attained the age of eighty-nine years, six months and seven days.
.....Myrtle was a homemaker, and had resided in Deltona, Florida the past twenty-four years and was formerly of St Louis, Missouri. Myrtle taught the Adult Youth Sunday School Class at the Fourth Baptist Church in St. Louis, Mo., and attended the Baptist Church in Deltona until her failing health prevented her from attending.
.....On October 31, 1927, she was united in marriage to Alvis L. Raymer at Van Buren, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 29,1991, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Virginia May Raymer on March 13, 1934; two brothers, Walter F. Webb in 1997 and William S. Webb in 1994; three sisters, Gertrude Pitman in 1988, Pearl Winters in 1961 and Edna Webb in 1921.
.....Survivors include one son, Kenneth Raymer of Galesburg, Illinois; one daughter, Betty Riechers of Apopka, Florida, six grandchildren, one great grandchild, four brothers, Herbert Webb of Grandin, Mo., Robert A. Webb, Jr. of St. Louis, Mo., Clarence Webb and Marvin Webb both of Marble Hill, Mo.; three sisters, Ethel Krieder, Laura Albert of Chicago, Ill., Maxine Livingston of DeSoto, Mo., and many other relatives and friends who will mourn her passing.

.....In 1928, Myrtle and Al moved to 427 Trendley Ave. in East St. Louis just before the birth of their first child, Virginia May, born on Sept. 9, 1928. In 1929 they moved across the river to 2705 N. 20th Street, St. Louis, MO when Virginia May was a year old. In 1934, when Virginia May was sick, my mother said she had to carry her to the barbershop to get my father to take them to St. Louis Children's Hospital. Virginia May Raymer died in the hospital on March 13, 1934 at the age of 5.
The death certificate said she died from Nephrosis Chronic Bright's Disease, (which is a kidney disease), along with Pericarditis and bronchial pneumonia. The funeral was held in the Beiderwieden Funeral Home at 1936 St. Louis, Ave., St Louis, MO. She was buried in the Whites Mill Cemetery, near Ellsinore, in Carter County, MO.

7. Luin Lindel RAYMER (Nettie Belle RODGERS2, Charles Wesley1), M. Born on February 17, 1910 in Ellsinore, Missouri. Luin Lindel died in Caseyville, IL., on March 18, 1977; he was 67. Buried in Raymer Cemetery, Ellsinore, Carter Co., MO.

Luin "Curly" was a retired painter from International Harvester in St. Louis, MO.

"Curly-Pappy" Raymer, 66, of 110 Valley Dr., Caseyville, a Caseyville police sergeant, died Saturday March 19, 1977 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at McSpadden Funeral Home, Ellsinore, MO. Friends may call until 9 p.m. today at Herr Caseyville Chapel.

...Luin was a retired employee of the International Harvester Co., St. Louis. He was a member of the Caseyville Police Assn.

On November 27, 1928 when Luin Lindel was 18, he married Alva Lucille SOLLARS, F, daughter of William W. SOLLARS, M (November 30, 1881-February 18, 1960) & Lena Ann DABNER, F (November 10, 1889-April 19, 1953). Born on October 5, 1915 in Missouri. Alva Lucille died in Belleville, Illinois, on November 30, 1993; she was 78.

9. Violet Opal RAYMER (Nettie Belle RODGERS2, Charles Wesley1), F. Born on December 16, 1917 in Ellsinore, Carter County, Missouri.

Violet Opal married Harry J. LEE Sr., M. Born on June 21, 1910. Harry J. died on February 29, 1980; he was 69.

The family lived for years in Kansas City, Kansas. After the flood, Violet, Harry and Harry Lee Junior moved to La Harpe, Kansas.

...Mr. Raymer was a retired insurance adjuster for American States Insurance Co., Orlando, Fla., and a member of Musicians Local 717. Mr. Raymer was Adjuster of the Year for five years with American States Insurance Co.
...He was preceded in death by his parents, Miles B. and Nettie, nee Rodgers, Raymer; four brothers, Leo, Alvis, Luin and Grover Raymer; one son, Gary Edward Raymer; and one granddaughter, Debbie Raymer.
...Surviving are one son, Derrell R. (Gayle) Raymer of Orlando, Fla.; one sister, Violet Lee of LeHarpe, Kan.; six grandchildren, Kathleen Raymer-Browne, Kelly Raymer-Rowland, Eric Raymer, Tracy Raymer, Michael (Diana) Raymer Sr. and Dawn Raymer; and 11 great-grandchildren, Justin, Hannah, Brianna Rowland, Emily Browne, Tyler, Michael Jr., Brandon and Nathan Raymer and Ashley, Michael and Caitlin Womer.
