WELCOME TO
MY DIGITAL PHOTO ALBUM
These pictures were taken recently by me using a Nikon Coolpix 950 Digital Camera, and all were taken in or around the San Diego area. For the price this camera is a excellent choice for those that are new to digital photography.
Depending on your modem it will take several
minutes to load the pictures but I think you will enjoy viewing them. Thank
you for your time. Your comment will be appreciated in guestbook...
A view of the skyline of America's Finest City.
Photo was taken
from Harbor Island looking across the bay into downtown
San Diego. A view of a beautiful San Diego sunset in August.
Photo was taken from
my home in Blossom Valley looking to the west. A view of a sunrise in Blossom Valley.
Photo was taken from
balcony of my home at sunrise looking to the west. A San Diego landmark.
A well maintained
home that was built at the turn of the last century just a few block from
downtown San Diego. World Famous San Diego Zoo.
Yes, he is alive.
This is a young white African Rhinoceros at the World Famous San Diego Zoo.
He is only a couple years old. Note the two horns that still are not fully
developed as yet...He has three toes on each foot. Make sure you plan to
visit the zoo when in San Diego. The Elephant Dance.
Yes, this African
elephant is actually dancing, without music, at the San Diego Zoo. Note that
both of his left feet are off the ground at the same time. The African
elephant has extremely large ears that are thought to be a aid in keeping
the animal cool and provide a means for circulating blood to be exposed to
cooling breezes. African elephants are the largest land mammals now alive.
A Beautiful Macaw Parrot from South America.
Another beautiful
sight at the San Diego Zoo are the beautiful birds. Many are free to roam
the zoo grounds outside cages. The macaws are the largest and most colorful
of over 300 species of parrots distributed worldwide. They are a gregarious
and extremely noisy bird of the Amazon basin.
