Ruth, you are my wonderful helpmate
And it is important that you know
That the love we have for each other
Has helped each one of us to growYou have always stood beside me
When others may have turned away
You have help me see the sunlight
When my skies were cloudy gray
You helped me when I have been angry
You know how to calm my ever fear
You know what to say in my sadness
And your kiss drives away every tearYou are my beautiful rainbow
At the end of a long stormy day
You have a heart that is full of goodness
And your smile drive all my gloominess away
You are always there to hold my hand
When I am about ready to fall
Through many a pain and heartache
You have always seen me through it allI am not for sure I have been the best helpmate
I have fallen short of my goal many times
I know I am far from being perfect
But with your help our hearts can continue to intertwine
I know I could never repay you
For the loving care you have given to me
And for all the many favors
That are embedded deep in my memoriesMy prayer is that God will bless you
Walk close at your side day by day
Encouraging you to be strong in spirit
Standing by you every step of the wayRUTH MY DEAR, YOU ARE THE BEST!
