About The Author

H. Paul Shuch flew his first lesson at the age of fifteen, in a powder blue Aeronca Champ. A four year stint in the Air Force sealed his fate. Now an aerospace engineer and aeronautics professor, he dreams of becoming an astronaut, and flight instructs when the weather isn't right for writing. Dr. Shuch is widely published in the engineering literature; this book is his first non-technical effort.
