The tint of my hair
Is more gray than it was.
The years have changed me
And possibly given me
Wisdom by now.

The shine in your eyes
Sometimes fades into dullness.
It always returns
When the moment is magic
And I feel your touch.

The beat of my heart
Still responds to your glance.
I never can leave you
For life is too short
And love is too dear.
