Janeway's Starship

I'm telling you the story of
The Voyager Starship.
Took off from DS-9 upon
A three-hour trip.

The captain, Kathryn Janeway, is
As tough as any man.
The strongest woman we have seen
Since Star Trek began.

They set out in pursuit of rebels
Known as the Maquis,
Who fight with the Cardassians
To keep their planets free.

They came to an anomaly,
And through it they did roam.
How could they know they would emerge
A hundred years from home?

Now, finally, Rick Berman gets
To dream as he sees fit;
No Roddenberry standing there
To give him any shit.

So fly along with Voyager
As countless worlds they save,
Because we know that Gene is turning
Over in his grave.
