Religion? Not For Me

Religion? Not for me,
I thank God I'm an atheist.
Religion is just so much superstition,
And it's bad luck
To be superstitious.
Faith? You must be blind,
Rejecting the concept
Of free will.
I can't accept such notions;
Perhaps I wasn't meant to.
God? His great appeal
Is to those who can't believe
In themselves.
Not me, knock wood.
I know there is no God,
Pray I'm right,
And keep my fingers crossed.
