As I was walking slowly down the avenue
In an unfamiliar town
A feeling came upon me, rather eerie.
I looked around the streets, and all at once I knew.
It's a street I had walked down.
I tightly shut my eyes and saw it clearly.

Have been hanging around all the recesses of my mind.
When I looked in the eyes of a stranger, and knew I had seen that face before,
