The HT in Box

The principal of Body Nulling is to place your body between the transmitter and the HT and to rotate one's body 360 degrees while watching the HT signal meter. When the signal meter dips, the transmitter is behind you. The closer you get to the transmitter, the more RF is able to pass through the HT plastic cover and swamp the receiver front end resulting in an ambiguous meter readings. My idea with the HT enclosure was to provide additional shielding to the HT by placing it inside the box.
