IC-706 Series Tuner button option.

I have for sale new in package, a tuner/call button option that helps in tuning your antenna's with the IC-706 series radio's. With the press of the tuner button this makes the IC-706 series radio put out a 10 watt signal with sidetone on 160 mtrs through 10 mtrs. This plugs into the back of the radio and requires no mods to make it work. After you get done tuning the radio returns to the last mode used. No more mode changes.

I have a bunch of them and only need two.  $15.00 shipped.  I have seen these for sale in the QST for 32.95 plus 3.00 s/h. When I receive a money order the part will be shipped out by the next day. There is some with red and some with black heat shrink. Please specify a color. This is not a business add and don't mean to make it sound like one. I have new 2 mtr ssb antennas for sale. The 2 mtr antennas are 35.00 each (Pole not included). Pole is a 1" by 96" square tubing.

The construction is all copper. On 1/2 watt I talked over 50 miles on one antenna.  The antenna's are stacked at four foot
spacing with 17 inches clearence from the lower antenna to the top of the cab or roof (car or home). These antenna's are very wide banded and maintain a low swr within the complete 2 mtr band. See the swr chart below. To change the center frequency you just pull the two end loops closer together or farther apart. It's that simple.  These antenna's are water proofed so mositure shouldn't affect them in anyway. They have been wind tested up to 75 mph with no changes in it's operation.

The center freqency was set at 146.000  The swr is noted below each frequency and was found using a MFJ-259 swr analyzer.

With the center frequency still set to 146.000 we did a test on the antenna to see where the band edges were and here is what we come up with. Not bad at all for no changes to the antenna.
