Bob Arthurs

Have been active in music all my life. I am the Dean of the Music Conservatory of Westchester in White Plains. Recently released a jazz CD on Zinnia Records (Zinnia 107, available at 1-800-TOWER) or by emailing me. For those of you who live in Westchester area, I'll be performing at the JuneJazz Festival in White Plains (which I organize for my school and the city of White Plains) on Friday, June 16. As fate would have it, I'll be organizing and performing an outdoor jazz concert on Saturday, July 22nd in Hastings, and I'll be leading a jazz history workshop and performance at the Sunnyside Jazz Festival in Irvington, NY on the last Saturday and Sunday in August. I'll also be performing on Cape Cod the first weekend in August. If anyone is interested they can email me and I'll give them details. I also host monthly jam sessions at my school on the first Wednesday of the month (except August) if anyone in the area wants to come listen or sit in. There's other stuff in my life, but I imagine it's pretty much the same as y'all.

Louise Bain Clemenger

Hello from Atlanta! Can it really be 35 years?? I married almost 24 years ago, got a Master's from Manhattanville, taught school for about 7 years, relocated to Atlanta then Chicago then back to Atlanta. Have a great daughter, Caroline, born in 1986 (better late than never)! So we're just finishing middle school. Parenting is a trip!! Sang with Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus and Robert Shaw in early 80's. Have been at Chrysler Corp. (now DaimlerChrysler) for 21 years. How can we ever forget Mr. Riggs, chemistry with Mr. Pressley, Eva Sureau's matching outfits, Mr. Aschmann, Mr. Hogan, Spanish with Senorita Quinlan, etc., etc., in some ways it was just yesterday. Looking forward to seeing the greatest class to graduate from HHS.

Greg Barnum

I can't believe its been so long. Fortunately I look the same as I did when I graduated as I'm sure the rest of you do as well. O.K . here's the last 35 years in a nutshell.
Graduated West Virginia University. Went to work at Children's Village in Dobbs Ferry. Burned out in two years--
I guess I wasn't as idealistic and non materialistic as I thought- great rewards but no money in social work.
I turned to free lance photography--HELLO--no money there either.
Ended up as sales manager for a photo lab in N.J. Married for the second time 16 years ago.
Jackie and I have 2 great daughters, Megan 14, and Kristen 12. They are the 3 best things to come into my life the last 35 years. We all moved to Annapolis, Maryland 11 years ago where I opened my own photo lab. Keeps me out of trouble but lets me spend time with my girls----life is good. Wish I could make the reunion. Best to all of you.

Walter Bernd

Having always been somewhat independant (e.g. never seriously dated a HHS gal), surprise surprise, that hasn't changed one iota! Went to the Universtiy of Bridgeport then directly into advertising in media at Grey, Account Management at J. Walter Thompson, then at Young & Rubicam for 15 years. Left Y&R to start a marketing/branding consulting company and actually ended up starting a couple of them with varying degrees of success. Am currently working on a start-up that is not a .com; Low Tech Toys, LLC.
Married a great woman, Jane, about 11 years ago and we have one son, Christopher, who is 6 and the charmer I always wanted to be. Hang on to your daughters!
We live in Fairfield, CT. Hobbies over the years have included; auto racing at Limerock, collecting transistor radios, photography, rock guitar, tennis and stereo gear. Cheers!

Jan Coakley Owen

I'm an artist making artist books and played bass with the Bangor Symphony for many years. Twin daughters graduate from Brown this spring. My husband is and EPA coordinator. We've lived in Bangor for over 20 years now. Hope to make it to the reunion.

Steve Collins

I'm going into my fifth season on "7th Heaven," still the WB network's highest rated program. Before filming begins in July, I'll be starring on stage at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Massachusetts in Noel Coward's comedy "Tonight at 8:30." I'll also be seen in a newer medium, starring in an interactive CD-ROM game called "ER Code Blue" that's due out in the fall. I've been married for fifteen years to actress Faye Grant, and we have a wonderful ten year old daughter. Although I've spent most of his adult life living in Manhattan, my family and I are living in Los Angeles, where "7th Heaven" is filmed. I love hearing from classmates.

Bill Cook

I live in Highland Park, NJ (right outside of New Brunswick, the home of Rutgers University) with my wife Cindy. Cindy is the former Cinthia Johnson, HHS class of '68 and the sister of Lorraine Johnson. We have lived in Highland Park since I got out of the Army in 1972. We have 2 sons, Keith and Kevin. Keith is graduating from Seton Hall Law School on Friday, June 1st. Kevin went to school outside of San Francisco, and currently lives in Mountain View, Ca.
I work as the Director of Member and Customer Service at IEEE. IEEE is a non-profit individual member engineering society made up of over 350,000 electrical and computer engineers throughout the world. We publish standards and technical journals and sponsor technical conferences. Cindy is a 2nd grade teacher in Monroe Township, NJ. Cindy and I will be celebrating our 30th anniversary on July 5th.

John Crotty

You asked for it! Escaped purgatory and got asst'd jobs, motorcycles, fast and not so fast cars. Joined Marines ('68-'70) no combat but changed me much more than I realized at the time met the wife (Rose) on the job with NY Tel that really changed me. After 15 years in the South Bronx we packed it in with ma bell and moved to the land of woodchucks. Still trying to find a way to make a living up here with little success. I've compensated for this failure with involvement in the Vol Fire Service and EMS. We've been truly blessed with a wonderful 11 year old girl (Robin). After 35 years I almost have forgotten how much I hated school and yet today I love going to training classes and meetings. I didn't understand myself then and I still don't.

Brian Derx

After graduation from Hastings, I attended Texas A & M University. While my high school classmates were protesting the war in Viet Nam, I was earning a commission in the Army through the Corps of Cadets at A&M. When I was graduated and commissioned, the Army said they would give me 2 years to get a Master's degree, if I was accepted to a graduate school. Well...the war was still going on, and I figured anyone could get a Master's in 18 months... They'd let me have 2 years, I could stretch it. This is the tough way to dodge the draft! Finally entered active duty in April of '72, and by the time I was about to graduate from flight school, the next year, they had called off the war! Shucks.
Spent 3 years flying Hueys in Germany. A great way to see Europe at government expense. Met my bride there. Pat was teaching school to military dependents in Augsburg. Three more years stateside trying to make my desk hover, then left the Army and moved to Austin and became a stockbroker with what is now Prudential Securities. In '86 moved to Houston to be the Administrative Manager of the 3 branches in Houston. After the "Crash of '87" my position was eliminated. At that point there were two energy futures brokers that were growing faster than our operations people could handle, so I took on the position of their operations manager, clearing trades, making margin calls, transferring funds, etc., with our clients, which are major oil companies. I'm still there, not bright enough to get a real job. Have 3 kids. Justin was just graduated from college in Radio/TV. Karen is in community college trying to figure out what to do with her life. Ian will be a high school senior this fall, and hopefully will have his paper work finished to complete his Eagle Scout Badge. I still play with my ham radio stuff, and as my web site can attest, I hack around on my computer from time to time. I'm looking forward to seeing lots of you at the reunion. I didn't make the last one, and haven't seen most of you since we skipped across the gym in '65.

Meg Diaz Waters

Life got even better after Hastings! I met a banjo-playing neuroscientist in LA in ?66 who took me on as a permanent passenger in his VW bus. Though he now drives a Z3, I still love the seating arrangements 34 years later. In my first life, I wound up as English Department chair at Stafford High in Connecticut and coach of the girls state championship basketball team. My favorite job followed--mother to a daughter now in graduate school. In the interim, I became a freelance writer in NYC. My first childrens book sold 30 million copies! Because it was packaged in McDonalds Happy Meals, it has the distinction of being thrown away more often than any other book in history. We moved to Elvis-land 15 years ago. Bob heads a lab and teaches at the medical school, and Im the managing editor for a medical publisher and teach editing and writing seminars. Peace! Honk when you see us!

Steve Ensign

I've lived in Santa Cruz for 25 years and have totally lost touch with everyone from HHS. I'm new online and would love to hear from anyone.... Regret to say, I will not be able to attend the reunion. I will be crewing aboard a '65 sail boat, accompanying the Pacific Cup sailboat race from San Francisco to Hawaii. We're scheduled to leave 7-10, starting from St. Francis YC, here in SF, and finishing 2000 miles away in Kaneohe Bay, on the island of Oahu. I have some business in Maui, where I own some land, so this will be an opportunity to do this also. All this, at the busiest time of the year for the farm where I work.

Chip Fontaine

I went to Plattsburgh State after High School and completed my degree in 1970. I currently work at a Nuclear Power Station on the James River in Southside Va.

Has it been 35 years? Wow! I'm married to the same gal for 25 years. Wendy and I have 4 "kids", a 24 year old pole-vaulting, guitar & piano playing son, who's a grad student in Veterinary medicine at U Penn, a 19 year old artistic daughter who starts at SUNY Purchase in the Fall, a 17 year old artistic daughter who works in the Towne Crier in Pawling, NY, where all the folk singers of the 60s & 70s come to ply their trade, and a 10 year old Huck Finn, who drives us bananas, but keeps us laughing. I've always loved nature in general and wildlife in particular, so hiking and wildlife photography are my passions, along with tennis, reading, writing, carpentry and tinkering around the house. I've had a fun career in communications and messaging, currently with Lucent Technologies and definitely a child of the computer age. We recently bought our retirement home in the Adirondack Mountains near Lake Placid, and run it as an Inn when we're not there, with an eye to becoming inn-keepers when we pack it in. We have our own domain at www.adirondackholiday.com, and I'm really looking forward to the reunion on account of how much fun the last one was. Way to go, Greta and Brian.

Marilynn Halstead-Stanard

Went to business school after HHS. Worked in New York City for many years as a Sales Rep for custom printing and packaging company. Spent over 20 years with the first love of my life until he died in 1992. Met the second love of my life, Edward, in 1994. We will celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary this September. We are both happily retired, thanks to a robust stock market and recently moved back to New York after spending 2 years in southern Arizona (yes, it is a dry heat...but you don't need humidity when it's 110) Just moved in to a brand new town- house in Poughkeepsie.
No kids but we have a funny little black & white cat. We travel alot... in 1999 we went to the Caribbean for a week, cruised the Greek Islands and went to Turkey, spent 10 days in Spain, Portugal and North Africa and also spent time in Florida and Niagara Falls. This summer we are going to Maine for a week and then, in September, we're off to Central Europe for a couple of weeks. To say that life is good is an under-statement. So glad, too, that everyone seems happy and successful. See you all on the 15th. MARILYNN

Here's what I'm doing now: I moved to Wisconsin in 1977 to take a job at Stephan & Brady, an ad agency in Madison, and have been here ever since. I'm a partner in the firm, so I'll probably be here until 2012. Currently, I head up the marketing information group. Most of our research is for the food industry. I live on 30 wooded acres in Brooklyn township with my 16 year old son, Zane, and 2 Doberman's, who are anything but ferocious. I'm currently going through the torment of teaching Zane to drive and wondering what he's up to when he's out at night.

Barry Higgins

Currently own a chemical manufacturing company and tool manufacturing company. Married, one daughter living in Maine with 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.
I have been married for 16 years to Linda. We have been together for 20 years. I have been in Seminole Florida since 1981 and love it. If I ever move again, it will be to Sedona, Arizona where we have a time share. Perhaps part of the year there and part here. I own and operate two manufacturing companies in St. Petersburg, Florida. Sedica manufactures specialty tools for repair of automotive radiators and cooling systems. Miracle Weld manufactures epoxy putty sticks and other epoxy products. One of these days I hope to actually make a profit from one of them. I have also just inherited an auto repair shop. Don't quite know what I am going to do with it yet. I have a 26 year old daughter who lives in Maine. She and her husband own and operate a day care center and have three children. A boy 4, boy 2 and girl 1. I also have a passion for old British sports cars and currently have a 1974 MG Midget which I rebuilt. I have recently found a 1963 Mini Cooper S which I hope to purchase and rebuild soon.

Carol Jaquith Patton

I have two married daughters and one granddaughter, who brings me great joy. I graduated from Cornell with a B.A. and later attended Ithaca College, receiving a second B.A. in music. I have been a certified Suzuki piano teacher for over twenty years, and maintain a private practice. I am a Lay Eucharistic Minister and a licensed Lay Reader in the Episcopal Church. My husband of thirty-three years and I have lived in Louisiana for the past fifteen years (we moved right after the twentieth reunion). He is the Undersecretary of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. I am looking forward to the reunion!

Ronnie Kelly Badowski

Basically, all these years I've been a homemaker. Bill and I have two wonderful kids. Keith, our son, and his wife Beth live in the Atlanta, Georgia area and Kelly, our daughter, lives in Portland, Maine, with her husband, Kurt, and their son, John. Yes, that means I'm a Grandma! Recently, I took on a part time job at the local Beekman Library, managing the bar-coding of all the books. It was a fun job working with all the volunteers! Presently, my Mom and step-Dad live in a house attached to our home. Since they don't drive anymore, it is good having them nearby. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Alex Kelter

OK here goes. Graduated HHS in June 65. July 65 family moves to Arizona. Sept 65 started college at CalTech in Pasadena. Sept 65 transferred to University of Arizona (Tucson) where I got a BS in '69, MD in '73. Trained there in Preventive Medicine, and married Mary Ann Misenhimer. Worked at AZ state health department for 4 years, went to the CDC in Atanta for 2 years (where I was part of the first team to investigate AIDS), then to California in 1982, working in environmental toxics. Attended HHS '65 20 year reunion in 1985. Became Deputy Director of California state health department for 2 years, then started the state's injury & violence prevention program in 1989, a job I still have today. If you were at our 20 year party, you met and fell in love with Mary Ann, just like I did. She is a now Nurse Practitioner at the pain clinic at U.C. Davis Medical Center. This year is our 25th Anniversary, which we'll celebrate at the Sydney 2000 Olympics in September !! Whew !! See y'all in Tarrytown!

My wife Pat and I have been married for 27 years and reside in Fairfield, NJ. We have been blessed with 2 perfect daughters, Kerry and Erin. Kerry is a freshman Bio Major at St. Joseph's University and Erin, a freshman in High School, is starting to date. I'm trying unsuccessfully to put a stop to it! They're both tall blondes with blue eyes so I guess Pay back is a you know what....Pat teaches and I have been working for Spalding Sporting Goods since 1974. Life has been good to me and I hope for you too...Hope to connect with you this coming summer...God Bless!

Martha Leary Allen

My mailing address is:
PO Box 818
Forest Knolls, CA 94933
The Street address listed is correct, but unless someone is sending me a UPS package, it won't do any good. I live in rural West Marin in a town of 800, just north of San Francisco. I have worked for the past 30 years as a high school English teacher. Married for 30 years as well, to Ted Allen, an art and ceramics teacher (now retired and happily painting). We have a daughter, Rachel, now 21 who is graduating from the University of Oregon. She came with me to the last HHS reunion. That's the basics! I'm sorry not to make the reunion. Ironically, I am to NY just a week later. I look forward to hearing about folks. It has been good to establish e-mail contact with old friends. I hope all is well with you. Fondly, Martha

My company's website which someone located and added has all I could imagine about my work. If you want the nickel summary for the newsletter try this. I am a pediatrician who has spent the last twenty years in health policy or health management. For the past three years I have been in charge of running a statewide HMO based in Seattle with about 600,000 patients and serving as President of a medical group of over 1000 doctors and other professionals. For home, my husband is also a physician who is developing new ventures and we have a son 20, who is a college junior, and a daughter 23, who graduated college last year and is doing a research fellowship in New Zealand and Chile this year. For fun, I enjoy reading, gardening, knitting, hiking, and golf. That's my two cents. Can't wait to see everyone else's.

Elizabeth MacGard

Greetings!
Liz MacGard here. In a nutshell.....
I graduated from Bellevue school of Nrsg in '68. Moved to Northern Cal. in '73. Bought 30acres of Redwoods in '75 and built my home with timber I logged and milled off my own property. Took 4 years to do this and put my pofessional life 'on hold.' In 1982, I returned to Nrsg, went back to school for a degree in Hlth Services Administration and went into hospital administration for 16 years. In 1998 my partner of 23 years died and I decided to leave my position as hosp CEO to return to nrsg. I am now a PACU (recovery room) nurse specialist and I travel all over the country on 3 and 4 month contracts. I am currently on a contract at Providence hosp. in Yakima, Washington. In Feb. of this year, I moved back to Hastings to oversee the renovations on my family home (Edmarth Place). The work was proceeding nicely and I felt comfortable returning to work. I began my current contract on May 11th and will be in Yakima until October. Unfortunately, I will miss our 35th reunion, but I send many good wishes to my fellow class of '65 grads.
Go, Yellow Jackets!!!!

Laura Macy Rice

It is hard to believe that I am living in my childhood home on Elm Place in Hastings, actually teaching English next door to Mr. Aschman's last classroom, but so it goes. A splendid place to live and work. Excellent students, a lovely walk to work across Reynolds Field, and great colleagues at HHS. They are wringing their hands again that the classes are increasing in size, and the "huge" bubble coming through will reach the high school next year. 140 students! Weren't we at 200 at one point? Anyway, last year Bob Nelson and Joan Rand retired, closing the book on faculty who lingered well after we left. Although Miss Rutherford teaches physical education at Hillside still. She was new our senior year, Coach Menne's replacement. Anyway, my younger daughter just graduated from college last Sunday, and the older one leaves Chicago to return to NYC for next year. Front and center in our lives is my husband's Alzheimers Disease. He was diagnosed three years ago, and is still managing at home, with help while I work. We are both keeping our senses of humor. Anyway, life in Hastings is mostly good, quite expensive, and amazing that I am this old. How did this happen? Best wishes to you, Laura Rice

Ann Mauer Bauer

My kids were hysterical when I told them it was 35 years since I've graduated high school. I was married, divorced, and now live with the love of my life. Together we have 5 grown kids (3 mine and 2 his) and 2 granddaughters. All are out of the nest and scattered about. I spent many years as a property manager for a real estate development company, but recently switched to a controller position for a Westchester Co... HVAC firm. Lived at Peach Lake in North Salem since '76. Looking forward to the reunion!

Janice McGinigle Minkewicz

After high school I became a medical lab technician and worked at St. John's Hospital in Yonkers until 1970. I married Frank Minkewicz in Oct. '70 and we bought a home in Beacon, NY. I worked there until 1972 . We have two great kids, Frank, Jr., 28 who is married and lives in Virginia Beach. He and his wife both work for Prudential. Our other son, Andrew, will be 26 this July. He is a percussionist/jazz drummer and is relocating to Denver in August. I stayed home with the kids and was involved in the usual stuff, Cub Scouts, soccer, Little League, PTA, Band Boosters etc. We moved to Stormville, NY (Dutchess Cty) in 1984. In 1987 I got a "little" part time job at McGrath & CO. Real Estate Appraisers to keep me busy and out of the mall. I have been there 13 years! In 1988 George Basciani (former classmate) became a partner in the business, now called, McGrath, Basciani. He runs the Westchester office..I work in the Fishkill office. Frank has had his own Auto Repair shop in Hartsdale for 25 years..Life has been good and we are looking forward to retirement!

Nancy McGeorge

I've worked in the legal end of the entertainment and television business since college and am currently at the Lifetime Network in Manhattan. I moved back to Hastings in 1984. It's rather quaint as things don't change there all that much, except that it's 35 years later, and now I've become one of the old Village People. How did we get here so fast? I've been dating a really terrific guy (Jim) since 1969. Yes, 1969. I said he's terrific. I also have three fabulous nephews, but Tony can, and will I'm sure, tell you more about them. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in about a week.

Tony McGeorge

I am International Pharmaceutical Group Vice President for Skila Inc. I have lived in Devon, PA for the last 18 years and my hobbies are writing poetry, coaching competitive and High School Lacrosse and running a foundation for under privileged boys called the Mustang Scholars.

Eddie McKernan

I went to college in Emporia Ks. in 1966. The president addressed the new students and said some of us would meet your mates on campus, marry and raise our families in Emporia. I said Bullshit 4 mo. and I'm outta here. Well, the old fart new something. I got married in 1971 and have 3 daughters yea 3 of them. Jamie is 28 and lives and works in Emporia, Kelly is 24 and teaches 4th grade in the Dallas- Ft. Worth area, and is getting married in Oct. Erin is 21 and a jr.at Emporia St. Univ.. I don't know if I don't know if I'll make Hastings this summer, my mother moved in with us a few years ago and is now in a rest home with Alzheimer's. I was home a couple a yr. ago when some of us turned 50 and stayed with Dick Meyer and his Mother at Currie Rd

Greta Melford Kinderman

My life has been blessed since day one. Married to Reed for 27 years, he is an ophthalmologist practicing in Cherry Hill New Jersey, and I work as his bookkeeper, paying bills, doing taxes, payroll-not exciting but I get the job done, and still have time to play on two tennis teams. We have three great kids, one a junior at Dartmouth, and a second girl, a freshman at Cornell, and a son a sophomore at Moorestown High School. Managed a bookstore while my first two were young, but have spent most of my time bringing them up and volunteering in the schools with art programs and coaching travel soccer teams for seven years. We travel extensively, taking our kids to New Zealand, South America and Africa. House could use a new couch, and many other niceties, and lord knows the garden is a jungle but we have put our money into airplane tickets instead. I play in a community orchestra, still struggling with my violin, but love being involved with music. My daughters join me in the group when home and that is a special treat for me. After my mother died, I joined Hospice and having been working with them for thirteen years, a relationship that gives me so much more than I put in. Can't think what else you may want to hear-probably said more than necessary! Am looking forward to hearing about everyone else!

Sarah Mehlhop Strong

Let's see....I have two children, Anna 21, and soon to be a senior at Oberlin College (my own alma mater) and Aaron 16, a rising senior at the local high school and avid debater. I'm married to one John Strong (also an Oberlin graduate). John and I are both in the same line of work....college teaching. I teach Japanese language and literature and he teaches Asian religions and "comparative topics." We are fortunate enough to teach at the same institution, Bates College in Maine. We recently--last April--moved into a new home on a beautiful lake with loons and white pines, granite boulders and clear water. Whatever meritorious deeds we did to attain this good karma must have been carried out in previous lifetimes by virtuous, hardworking earlier versions of ourselves. In any case, we're grateful.

Nancy Miller McCall

Jimmy and I have been married for 33 years! After finishing school at Northwestern I became a Paralegal for a real estate company and then Sales and Marketing Director for Coldwell Banker. Six years ago I made a big change and accepted a position as Marketing Director for Lakes Gaming....(casino management). I love it, and it is a lot more exciting than real estate!! Jimmy works in the oil industry and travels a lot. (The secret to 33 years!) We have two children...Hilary and James. Hilary is married to a nursing home administrator (saving a place for me)! They have 4 boys...my pride and joy. James and his wife are both in management in the casino industry and have not yet started a family. We enjoy traveling and hanging out with the family. My four main hobbies: Trey, Patrick, Tyler, and Kristopher...our grandsons. Hope to see everybody at the next reunion, and I would love to hear from old friends. Have a wonderful time at the 35th reunion? Love to all.

Annette Minozzi

I'm currently living in Cary, North Carolina and working for the statewide public television network, UNC-TV, as a production assistant. I primarily work on a week-nightly newsmagazine program called North Carolina Now, (as well as other productions) and have held several positions over the past five years with NC Now; ie: assignment editor, news and weather writer, newsmaker assistant producer and sometime make-up person! Since I never remarried and never had any children, I'll take the liberty to have a few minutes' bragging rights with my job. I've assisted in studio and field productions of notable interviewees such as Tony Randall, Maya Angelou, Shirley Caesar, William Raspberry, Charles Kuralt, NC Gov. Jim Hunt and many of his cabinet members. During our yearly fundraiser acting as Talent Coordinator, I've scheduled and met the likes of John Tesh, Roger Williams, Patti Page, Kathy Mattea, Ann Murray and others. Considering the mere pittance I get paid as a state employee, I guess they figured they'd have to throw in a few perks to keep us as long as they could! I also spend another part of my life as NaNaBaNaNa the Clown, entertaining kids of all ages. I kind of fell into that role after being involved with community theatre for a number of years. I played a street urchin in The Madwoman of Chaillot juggling scarves, then just pursued the clowning venue from that point. It's been a wonderful experience for me and it also helps to pay my mortgage!
...and, again, while I never had children of my own, I am currently the proud Aunt NaNa of about 40 nieces and nephews, and 8 grandnieces and nephews. God Bless those babies one and all! My best wishes for everyone's continued successes!

Ann Mintz

I am a master planner for museum programs and exhibits.Aftger spending 10 years at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, I planned the exhibits for the new Orlando Science Center in Florida, and was Executive Director for the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts, a new science center in Harrisburg, Pennsyvlania which focuses on the intersection of science and the arts. My husband Clifford Wagner designs and builds traveling exhibits for science museums and children's museums. I'm sorry I can't be at the reunion, but it conflicts with a board meeting in Dallas I must attend.

Cheryl Montaigne Crawford

Organizer of the 20th reunion....We are past due. I have been living in Texas since I graduated from high school. I was married for 20 years and my husband passed away unexpectantly in 1986. I have two businesses "Computertots" and 2C Computers." Where is everyone?

Joe Paquette

In 1979 I left NY and started working in the Nuclear Power Industry, with short term assignments that sent me all over the US. Some assignments were 3 years long, and some were just a couple of months long. My work brought me to Florida, and I bought a house here in 1987. Since that time I've made FL, my home base, but I still have to travel occasionally. All my kids are grown and on there own, My oldest son lives a few miles away from me in FL., my oldest daughter lives in Washington, DC, and my youngest son and daughter live in NY. None of them have been married , YET, although my youngest Daughter is engaged. I haven't remarried sine my divorce from Pat Lynch in the late 70's.With all my traveling assignments over the past years, It's been a little hard to settle down, But, about 2 1/2 years ago I met Sharon here in FL, and everything has been Great! I'm really looking forward to the Reunion in July. Take care,

We have lived in Florida for 20 years. John works for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft as a Finance Manager. We have three children - Eric - 25, Ryan - 22 and Kristina - 21. They are our greatest accomplishments. I work for Main Line Corp., a software development company. Our product is an imaging system for land record management and is in place in several major cities. We will be implementing the system in NYC this fall, which will take me to NY for several months. It will be great to go "home". Our lives are full with family, friends and travel, fishing and boating. Life is so good!

Dan and I worked hard and have been very blessed with success, not to mention a beautiful family. We have three grown children, and four grandchildren. We have founded and ran 3 businesses and are about to start another. I have continued to participate in politics and service organizations over the years. I am a strong believer in public service and giving back to your community. I am so pleased that so many of our classmates have achieved such success.

Currently reside in Leesburg, Virginia. I am married (28 years) and have 2 sons (Dennis - age 25 and Dan - age 19) I'm a Principal Accountant for a Government Contractor while my wife (Theresa) is a Librarian. Dennis is in the music industry and also plays drums in a rock band. Dan is majoring in History at College. I am also retired from the United States Naval Reserve after 22 years of service. I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music (of course), reading a good novel, and watching sports on TV. Playing Golf is my favorite activity. And finally, I still have my Gretsch Drum set and practice whenever I can.

I have a part time healing practice where I take clients for Facial Rejuvenation, Reiki, Aromatherapy and Electrolysis. And for the most part I'm loving life

Jane Roshkind Kusel

In a rather large nutshell, I am married and have been to the same man for 33 years, Dr. Donald R. Kusel, Superintendent of Schools in the Tarrytowns. We currently live in Pleasantville on a golf course, another great love in my life. My e-mail was given, I believe, by Tom Burbank, with whom I teach in Carmel at the George Fischer Middle School. That career will end, delightfully by choice, in June 2001 when we plan to relocate to the West coast. My 30 year old daughter, Dr. Amy Kusel Epner, a clinical psychologist and her husband, Dr. Steven Epner, a neuroradiologist, live in La Jolla, CA, and I long to be nearer to them. My 28 year old son, Daniel and his wife, Hilary, and their son, my 15 week old grandson, Spencer, live in Boca Raton, FL. My "baby" is a consultant with Andersen Consulting. We spend much of our free time traveling worldwide, to say nothing of our monthly trips to CA and/or FL. I am also an adjunct professor in the graduate school of Education at Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY, an avid reader, a world-class shopper, and a "Jewish" mother and grandmother in every sense of the word. And you?
Regards, Jane Roshkind Kusel

Briefly, I've lived in British Columbia since 1970. In my first years here, I lived in the woods. Then I taught high school social studies. In the past 10 years, I've been teaching in the Faculty of Education at the University of British Columbia, and doing research on young people's historical understanding (a few more details on a web page: http://www.curricstudies.educ.ubc.ca/cards/SeixasPeter.htm). I am married and have two daughters, 20 and 15. I am sort of like I was in high school, only older. Best wishes to you--and thanks for doing all of this,

Bruce Sonkin

I was retired for two years and just went back into business for myself. I opened a check cashing store in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey which is in Bergen County, near Paramus. Married 21 years to a great girl, Ellen and we have one child, 18 year old Jessica. Jessica is graduating from high school this June and will be attending Washington Univ. in St Louis come the fall. She just returned from a two week trip to Poland and Israel to experience her ancestry...four concentration camps and Israeli Independence Day in Jerusalem. A great experience for her and poverty for the parents...something many of you are probably experiencing if you have not already. Best regards to all Bruce Sonkin..looking forward to seeing all of you young classmates.

I'm thrilled I've been "found"! I've changed names and states of residence (Utah, Illinois) a few times and seem to have been lost to the class of '65, but Natalie(Moscevsky) and I have kept in touch, and she with some others, and I think that's how I've been reconnected. I have an older son (26) from a previous marriage, and two youngsters from my current one (10 and 11) so it will be a while before I will be basking in what should be the joys of middle age, when the kids are grown and out of the house. Oh well, poor planning. I am currently the admin assistant to the executive chef at Mohonk Mountain House here in New Paltz. Hope to see many of you in July. If not keep writing.

When I graduated from NYU in 1969, I had a pretty simple life plan--become a rock star. Alas, this didn't quite pan out so I had to get a real job and wound up in the publishing business in New York, first in airlines magazines and then for the next 25 years in medical publishing which is still what I do at a company I started, The Ithaca Center for Postgraduate Medical Education. It's a far cry from rock and roll, unfortunately, but it keeps me out of trouble. My wife Jan (30 years and she still hasn't kicked me out for some reason) is an anthropology professor at Franklin & Marshall in Lancaster, PA, which is where we currently reside during the school year (back to Ithaca in the summers). We were blessed with two fairly neat children, Eli, now 26 and completing his firs t year at Jefferson Medical College in Philly, and Johanna, who just graduated from Vassar and is about to start a job at a culinary magazine in New York. I never did give up that dream of playing music and still do whenever I can in any band which will put up with me, one of which will be helping us celebrate our reunion. Looking forward very much to blowing all your brains out at the upcoming festivities but saying hello first! And if you ever wanted to sing some 60s songs with a live band, well we would sure appreciate your help on July 15, so bring the words! CHEERS!

Judy Wemer Chamberlain

After 12 years of working in various areas of broadcasting at NBC, when I became a mother, I stayed home to be with my children. My husband Terry and I have two sons...Brian ( 20) a computer engineering student at the University of Maryland and Jonathan (16) a sophomore at Pleasantville High School. Brian is into anything that is high tech or related to video/films and Jonathan is into anything that is sports related...baseball, soccer, snowboarding; both are 6 ft, handsome, and into music big time.
After years of volunteering...from class mother and Boy Scouts to forming the Pocantico Hills School Foundation, I returned to work as a freelance producer/writer and then joined an educational software company as a copywriter/marketing consultant. While at Sunburst Communications, I was part of a creative team that produced Sunbuddy Math Playhouse, a CD-ROM for young learners. I also wrote Pearlitas, a children's book for beginning readers that will be published this fall for use in classrooms. All this lead me to pursue a Masters in Teaching...(secondary social studies) which I'll be done with by the end of the year. Meanwhile, I'm working in the Advertising/Creative Marketing department of a large company in Stamford as a copywriter.

My life is in the Fast Lane right now....I am starting up a new division of the advertising agency Young & Rubicam. It is called Avenue e, and we are doing strategic consulting for pharmaceutical companies, helping them to develop programs for the Internet. My husband Pete and I will have been married for 31 years this coming summer. I have trouble believing that myself! I look forward to seeing everyone.

Mr. Saverino

I'd love to receive a news letter! Of course my history would be far too lengthy to be included.(I've been around for many years.) However, I might include a tidbit or two. Despite the fact that most of your class graduated right after my first year at HHS, I do recall quite a few names on the list, and have often wondered what ultimately became of each of you . Not all have reached the national public eye to the extent that Stephen Collins has, but I'm quite certain that all of you have made some positive contribution to society. Yours was a fine class; as were (are) most of the classes at HHS.
Thanks again, Mr. Saverino
