This is [your callsign]. My name is [your name] and I am located in [your city]. This ARES-RACES communication's emergency response team net is held each Sunday evening
at 21:00 hours local time for the purpose of weekly training in emergency communications and directed net procedures. All amateurs are invited to participate.
 
 

This is a directed net and all traffic should be directed through net control. If at any time during the
formal portion of the net you must leave the net please contact net control and properly secure your
station. Informal comments will be accepted following the formal portion of the net.
 
 

Checkins

We also take PACKET check in's on a frequency of 145.090Mhz please address them to
KE4TSC-1 via TVILLE.

At this time all stations will be asked to check in alphabetically according to the first letter in your
callsign suffix. Please give your callsign, location and any traffic for the net. If you do not desire to
remain for comments after the formal portion of the net you may check in and out.

Closing the Net
 
 

Alexander County ARES-RACES-Communication's emergency response team meets each third Saturday of the month at the Alexander County Courthouse in Taylorsville at 7:00 pm. All of those interested in emergency and public service communications are warmly encouraged to attend.
