My 160 meter Inverted-L is a real performer. It is about
165 feet in length with about 60 feet of that being vertical and the rest
slopes gradually up hill. The feed point is elevated about 10 feet
and has a air variable tuning capacitor for matching. Currently there
are 6 radials, all elevated 10 - 12 feet.
I have worked all 50 states with this antenna from my QTH here in the
SE corner of Tennessee with 100 watts. Numorous countrys are being
added to my log too. I have no amp for 160.
This antenna never ceases to amaze me.
