I had been out of work for over a year in 1998 and for the past 3 years might as well have been...My former employer sold out to a British corp. after my 19th anniversary...and the last 3 years of my job...there were a nightmare...mostly spending my time documenting my former work for ISO-9001...to eventually AID in my final permanent layoff...such is life in the times of NAFTA and Bill Clinton! Ah yes, LOTS of employment! according to the feeble U.S. press....
RIGHT Bill !!!.....UNDEREMPLOYMENT with No Benefits! I am now making 2/3 of my former income and even with 15 hours a week overtime I don't equal my straight time paycheck in 1985-86...REAL PROGRESS BILL!! I just received my lifetime Social Security statement and in 1999 I worked harder than most people that I go in to perform services for and for what?....For less than I made in 1983!!!
Use your Rose Colored Glasses on this page just like Him!! Don't worry that the US Military Electronics now comes from Mexico or Worse...the Far East...What kind of hallucinogens are you on now, Mr. President??? What would be the first thing shutoff in any kind of overseas dispute? Shipping? No, not according to Mr. Bill.....
What else could Mr. Clinton have done in the name of Peace? He signed away first-strike capability to NATO and the United Nations...So where will the US be in the future as a protector of smaller countries in the face of aggressions? Nowhere! Nice to think that HE thinks there will never be another conflict!
