QSL.NET/N3PRZ

This was my first website started back in 1996.  I have since moved on to www.onlinejason.net and www.weatherwarrior.net.  Because of speed and  consistent up time I no longer was using qsl.net.  I still support Al Waller (K3TKJ) and all his great contributions to ham radio, but my specific needs have outgrown what is available.  Below I've tried to supply a basic jumping off point to the new website pages on their respective sites.  All the files have been deleted from the qsl.net servers to give Al Wallers some bandwidth back from my hundreds of pages.  I will eventually integrate many of the qsl.net pages back into the new sites.

MY HAM RADIO SUMMARY

I started in ham radio thanks to my friend Hernan (N3OKP).  While I might have had the scanners first, he's beat to every level of communications since.  He recieved his Technicians license in 1992, and I recieved mine in 1993.  He got his General first, and he's likely to bet me to the Extra class.

So I got my license in 1993 while I was still in High School.  It started with hearing conversations on the scanner.  Once Hernan got his ticket, I had to get mine, so I studied and studies, took a few tests and finally passed.  I recieve my callsign, which I have kept to this day....N3PRZ.  Later in 2000 I recieved my General class after finally passing the code exam (5wpm).

In my ham radio history I've done lots.  I've belong to a few clubs, competited in a few contests (HF and VHF), had thousands of conversations or hundreds of repeaters around the country.  Things I hope to do in the future include having regular contacts on CW, going on an HF Expeditions, and winning some ham radio related awards.

Don't forget to check out my other websites to learn more about specific activies I participated in.  Ham Radio is very fun and I invite you to join in.
