All roads lead to the remote switch.

'What a mess, drilling, hammering defacing the house. I guess I can't wait what else to destroy. But this is the end result. I will layout things just a bit better from the pic below. Maybe plant a shrub to cover it all. Example content image

UN-UN Going to work

Homebrew vertical 28 feet high with 14 gauge antenna wire with a 4:1 homebrew un-un to feed the antenna. I cover the whole thing with a small bucket to keep the rain off. This of course is a temp setup, when things work out real well I can make a perm install, but I like to tinker with all types of antennas they can be changed without notice.

My license plate 146/440 mfj modified antenna

This is the antenna that I have to keep taking down in order to solder the cap back onto the main feed point. When it works it works well, when it doesn't it doesn't big time. Mfj could you please redisign this antenna. I mounted it on a old license plate using a c clamp then added 3 copper elements for a ground screen.
