The Aquatic Resources Education Program, AREP, is a State and Federal sponsored program dedicated to instructing the public in fishing and the protection of our environment and natural resources here in Massachusetts. The program is co-ordinated by Jim Legacy of the State Fish and Wildlife, and a staff of over a hundred volunteer fishing instructors , spread out in small work-groups throughout the state..
