Whether outside in the woods, or (as in this case) inside a school gymnasium, the energy of a hundred men drumming together will raise your spirits and give you a powerful sense of connectedness. I find drumming spiritual without being religious, a ritual without dogma. It requires no training, demands no practice, and since the rhythms are inside you, as long as your heart beats you cannot do it wrong.
