I am so glad that you have made your way to our website. It is new and fresh, enjoy. Also check out our Facebook page, be sure to like, comment, share, and follow.
Look around the FB page and this website. You will see and learn about some very friendly and knowledgeable folks enjoying life.
We come from all types of backgrounds. Some of us are professionals in electronics, we have folks from agriculture, trucking, education, sales people, first responders, police, fire, ambulance, manufacturing, engineers, healthcare, automotive, carpenters, business owners, managers and more! My point is; that as varied as our professions are we are all brought together by the common bond and interest of Ham Radio.
Ham radio offers many different way to participate. Maybe you like to make QSO's, maybe local, maybe DX, maybe community service, or electronics, experimenting with antennas, portable operating, the list goes on and on and we do all of that and more at M.A.R.K. We all have our niche; things we like or concentrate on. That is part of what makes Ham Radio Great. So many things to learn we never get bored.
It is a fact that most Hams are motivated, Hams are achievers. M.A.R.K. has some of the best! Make it a point to get to know us and you will see why I say that.
M.A.R.K. offer a way for us all to learn, enjoy the pool of our resorces and benefit from the support of experts in many different fields.
At M.A.R.K. we are a friendly group. We welcome and encourage anyone with an interest in Ham Radio (regardless of Klub affilation) to join us in our activities. We would love to have you join us. Come for the activities but my thought is that you will stay for the friendship. It all comes down to a group of great folks with a common interest enjoying each other's company and knowledge.
We are an active Klub! Weekly breakfast group. Monthly meetings, organized POTA events, Foxhunts, Field Day, weekly Nets and many more events all for you to enjoy with M.A.R.K.
Many of our members seems to center around Mattoon, Illinois but members span many different counties in Central Illinois and farther.
We are all into Radio, but it is the relationships you will develop that makes M.A.R.K. special.
Won't you consider joining us?
You will be glad you did!
It is all about the fun.
More Radio, More Fun!
