| Download the exe and place in a directory of your choice, or create a new one. If you have created a shortcut, double click on the locator icon |
| Nothing fancy about this one, it'll pop up somewhere on your screen, looking like this |
| If you leave the mouse over one of the boxes, a Tip will appear suggesting what should be entered/selected |
| Enter the required center frequency, the number of quarter wavelengths you require the co-ax to be, then select the cable type from the drop down box |
| Click on Calculate and the required length will be displayed in the boxes. |
| The top box shows the length of a quarter wave (x the number entered) for the entered frequency with air as a dialectric. The second box shows the Velocity Factor corrected length for the choosen type of co-ax. If the co-ax type you are using is not shown, use another with the same velocity factor, or email me and I will add it to the program. |
| Although the answer given is correct based on the manufacturers specs, I would suggest the use of a dip meter to finally trim to the exact length. |

| That's it, any problems, let me know and I'll do my best to help. |
