Kenwood TH-28A handheld for UHF;

LEN-160 (Bulgarian, 15W) + Diamond CR-22E base antenna packed and waiting a better day;

Transceiver: Icom IC-735, unlocked;

Power supply: The PS is a 350W LRS-350-12 (Mean Well) NO PFC, which I have boxed together with a filter from DG0SA (http://www.wolfgang-wippermann.de/snt.pdf). It runs sient and cool;

Power amplifier ACOM 1011;

Feedline: ~4m of RG213, 1:1 + 1:4 BALUN (http://www.wolfgang-wippermann.de/balun1zu4kleinptfe.pdf), 14m of homemade OWL 450R;

Antenna: 40M halfwave dipole, sloped (17m top, 3.5m bottom).

I will never buy feedline. It's really easy to build it yourself, albeit time consuming. The cost of this 20 meter / 66 feet roll is 17lv./ 8 Euro/ 9.5$.

You may be able to spot the antenna wire against the sky there (Right-click + View Image). The smaller antenna going off to the right is my receive antenna
for tube radios I restore and enjoy. I'm really lucky having that solid tree over there.

This is the DG0SA balun combo. Recognise the feedline strain relief plate? Yes, I killed a MFJ G5RV. The egg isolators are made of really durable and UV
resistant plastic. I use bowline knots throughout  the antenna system, they are self locking and really easy to set up.
