YAHU - Yet Another Headphones Unit (for PC)

A flash еxtra idea for music-lover!
For listening music with headphones, we need not amplifier, but adapter, which transform the LINE impedance of the PC audio card (usually high), to the headphones impedance (usually low, about 30 to 2000 ohm). That why, IMHO, one emitter follower is a good solution of the problem.

Below is shown my YAHU project :).
The both n-p-n transistors T1 and T2 makes up a Darlington circuit, in this case wired like emitter follower. Emitter resistance R4 ( 50 ohm ) must be 1 W - type, since the real power dissipation here is about 0.75 W. The transistor T2 need a good cooling off in the air - the radiator should be more than 40 square centimeters.
The component group C1 ( 0.1 µF ), R3 (10 kohm ) and C2 ( 560 pF ) limit the both end (lower and upper) of the audio band (- 3dB at 50Hz and 30 kHz).

YAHU.  He's not much to look at an unheard of thing, but  lives and work slick over an EXPERIMENTOR ™ (experimental board with 840 plug-in tie points).

Each of us may live out our fantasies! (by me) :))

- Every enjoy man hear independently !
- Geniesser hoeren alleine! - така казва немеца по въпроса.
- Които искат да се наслаждават (кèфят), слушат сами! - пък казваме ние, нахлупваме слушалките и надуваме до дупка :))
