DSSS on 2.4GHz and PSK
Graduation Thesis

My thesis in the Technical University of Plovdiv - Bulgaria was to implement Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) in 2.4GHz ISM band. Here I develop spreader and de-spreader based on Microchips' PIC microcontrollers. For the microcontrollers I wrote a programs for the: spreader, de-spreader and FIFO buffer (with scrambling function based on G3RUH modems). Entire project was based on AX.25 stack and FlexNet kernel. There is driver for EPP based modems, so I made FIFO buffer compatible with this driver. I redesigned Matjaz Vidmar (S53MV) PSK radio modem for use on 2.4GHz and made some improvements. So this design uses spread spectrum with 11 chips Barker's code and is able to give around 100kbit/s data speed before spreader and after de-spreader. This speed suits better to EPP driver characteristics.

Now this project is discontinued. Down you can find pictures from my defence of my work in the presence of an examining committee from the Technical University.
