CQ WW SSB 2002 short story

Thursday, a day before the test! We have our new delta for 14mhz up. Only one minor 
problem left. There is no F/B ratio!! So we put our alinco about 100m from our shack
to transmit. Lower the delta at 6m and start to tune it. After a few minutes the F/B 
is about 25db! Cool that's enough. So every thing seems ready.
Our plan was to make 2000qso or 2,000,000 points. Also we wanted to try with a second
radio to look for multipliers. Maybe you have seen the picture:)) Maybe it seems
funny but it worked!! I have made several DX stations with it: 8P8P, V26B and  more!
The ant we used for the second radio was vertical dipole for 14mhz. The only drawback 
was that we didn't have two PC in a network. This will be done for the CW part.
Also if we can get a packet cluster would be good. Cause the telephone lines sucks in my village!!
   
Conditions: poor most of the time. Only one good opening on 10m and 15m to USA in Sunday
afternoon. And it was for very short.
Murphy: was some where else I guess. No problems at all.
WX: was fantastic!!

Generally it was nice to work so many dx stations! And it wasn't nice to know that the
solar cycle is going down! Maybe last year with O. K. propagation on 10m.
After 9-10years i will meet you again there!
