| Veøy is a small uninhabited island east of the
larger island Sekken. In medieval times it was the commercial and
religious center of the area, well documented through archaelogical
excavations and a beautiful white stone church dating from about 1200
AD. Next to the church is a large wooden building now owned by the local
museum organization "Romsdalsmuseet".
As far as we know, Veøy has not yet seen any amateur radio activity. |
