You will need Acrobat reader. If it is not yet installed on your system
then you can download it from http://www.adobe.com

To configure the tracker you need a small configuration utility that
runs on Linux. If you don't have Linux then you can simply boot this CD-ROM,
and it automatically start the configuration utility.
Prerequisite is that your PC is not to old. I.e the BIOS supports booting from 
CD-ROM. You also need to make sure that the boot order is set correctly in your
BIOS. the CD-ROM should be listed before the C: drive.

Insert this CD-ROM in your CD-ROM drive and start your PC. Linux will start.
Don't worry, it will not install Linux.
During start-up a lot of messages will appear on the screen and after a while
the configuration utility will start.

the config utility.


On this CDROM you will find the following;

aprstracker/	This directory contains the source code of the aprstracker
		firmware and the config utility. The container file in this
		directory als contains a .HEX file of the firmware. You can 
		use this .HEX file in case you wat to reprogram an old PIC 
		with new firmware.

isolinux/	This directory contains some files to make this CDROM bootable.
		You can ignore the contents.

picprog/	This directory contains the source code of the software that you
		could use to (re-)program a PIC-microcontroller and also the
		schematic of a simple PIC programmer.
		The run-time version of this software is also placed on the boot
		image, meaning that you can simply execute it after booting from
		this CDROM. After booting the aprtracer config utility will start
		up automaticaly. Terminate the config utility by pressing Ctrl-C.
		Connect a serial PIC programmer to the com-port (COM1:) of your 
		PC and type the `picupd` command.

sbootmgr/	This directory contains nifty little tool allows selecting various
		devices to boot from a menu, and even allows booting a CD-ROM in
		machines where the BIOS doesn't support it.
