Prayer Letter September
2000
Dear Praying Friends,
We want to thank you for praying for us in the past. We now ask
that you pray especially for the next few months as we are into a
new phase of our ministry...deputation. We have been traveling
for six years and have raised some of our needed support. But
because our ministry was primarily here in the States, financial
needs have been taken care of by love offerings. We still receive
those offerings while on deputation, but for our future work we
will be dependent on monthly gifts from our prayer partners.
Please pray and see if God would have you or your church take us
on for monthly support.
Pray for us as we make decisions about our prayer cards. They are a necessary part of deputation, but do cost money. We pray to be able to have the cards by the middle of October. The cost for the cards will be several hundred dollars.
If you would like to help us with the cost of the prayer cards, you may send a check to us in care of the Calvary Baptist Church address at the top of the page. Monthly support or a one time gift can also be sent to the church. Please indicate if you would like the money to go to a specific project (i.e.: prayer card) or our monthly working fund.
For the month of October we will be in Texas. This will be time spent in our sending church as well as other churches in the area. We will also be with David's grandmother who has cancer and could use your prayers. We look forward to seeing her and other family members again.
In November we will be back in Florida for the first couple of weeks. There we will be working with a church helping them to revive their Deaf ministry. Please pray for us as we travel throughout these two months.
