"Long Live The Full Wave Loop"

My Story

My hometown is Hampshire, Tennessee, aboout 50 miles south west of Nashville. I Graduated from high school in 1969, 12th in a class of 13. So, as you can see I am from a small farming community. Shortly after graduation I enlisted in the USAF. I retired from the AF at Langley AFB, VA in 1989 with 20 years, 6 months of service. After retiring I worked at the Navy Aviation Depot in Norfolk, VA as an F14 electrician until the BRAC commission closed the facility and move the work to Florida.
I then went to work for the Gateway computer company, located here in Hampton, VA. A short time later Gateway closed and moved the work to California. Now I work part-time for Lowe's in Chesapeake VA. I am only working part-time at Lowe's so that they won't close...HI HI.
Some day I plan to be my own boss on the old home place as a small hobby farmer. The best part about my plan is both my wife and mother-in-law love it down on the farm.

Ham Radio

I was first licensed as a Ham in 1996. My station consist of a Kenwood TS690s, MC-60 mic, Palstar tuner, ALS-600 and TL922A amps. My antenna is a full-wave 80m loop up about 25 feet cut to 3950 KHz.

Thanks for the Jokers Net !
