     History of "Jokers Net" per N4ING aka Conrad

     this information was verified by my log books.......

     First entry regarding "Jokers" is  February 24, 1984 at 7:50 AM on 7291

     kcs. NCS was W4EGH, Claude Ragsdale of Blairs, SC Checkins were:

        N4ING Conrad of Lynchburg, VA a regular

        W4DYG Charlie Delk of Columbia a regular

        WA4WRJ Clint of Chatsworth, GA regular

        W4YOS Joe of Clemson,SC

     Joined March 12 , 1984 by WB2FHT, Al Chatten of New Egypt, NJ. Al's son

     lived next door to W4DYG. Al became a regular October 10, 1984 a mobile

     KA4TWK from Winnsboro, SC, Bill. His family were friends of Claude. He

     traveled the state of SC for an insurance company...joined us every day.

     August 7,1989 shows we were joined by W4FOD, John, Lynchburg, VA and Herb

     W4LSP of Pineknoll Shores, NC

     August 15 we were joined by W4NPU (WT4B) Tyler of Lynchburg and Rufus,

     W4SFG of Rion, SC. Both became regulars.

     September 22, 1990 shows 2 more, W4RLA and W4KSV, both of Lynchburg

     Next month, October 26,1990 W4FLU checked in for 1st time. Still on

     7292 kcs.

     November 22, 1990 shows Chrlie Wright, W4PED joining us.

     On June 27,1991 on 7292 we were joined by WA4RMO

     Al, WB2FHT, had to go QRT because of TVI and we voted to try 3927 or

     3930 but because of QRM we landed on 3931...

     Charlie Delk, W4DYG became a silent key around 1988. Until his death he

     did not miss a day.  Claude Ragsdale, W4EGH, the original Joker died in

     October 1995. He was NCS.

     the years. He can correct my errors and probably add several that

     I have missed.
