Hi my name is Howard and I live Long Beach,Ca. A fairly large city with about
450,000 people and the home of the Queen Mary.. I am married to the same
woman for going on 45 years now.. Hope you enjoy my home page.
I was born in Greeley, Co. and
moved to CA. in 1938. I went to several schools locally and graduated from
Jordan High in 1946. I joined the Navy in 1951. I served 3 tours of duty
in Korea aboard the cruiser Los Angeles and most of my duty was aboard the
Los Angeles until I was discharged . I went back to college for 2 years before
returning to the pipefitters union .. I retired later and now I am enjoying
my retirement..
I am a ham radio operator and
hold a extra class licence. I have been a ham since 1978. I like pactor,
packet and 2 meters. I also love advance round dancing and go to several
round dance festivals each year. Of course I like computering and the
