12. ¡°Congratulations on KLARC News Letter ¡°
JJ1CAS
Hiromi Hishiki
I congratulate all HL hams
on the issue of KLARC News Letter. It is my great
honor to inform the HL YLs and OMs of our activities in JA,
thanks to the
kindness of HL2KDW Ms. Chae, Do Sook.
First of all, please allow me to introduce myself to you. I am the 1st
Class
Amateur Radio Station and licensed on 1976. Now, I am
one of member of
Amateur Radio Emergency Service of JARL, JAIG, JANET, YLRL, JLRS, and one
of the organizers of ¡°Asian YL Meeting¡¯93 in Osaka¡±. My
experiences of DX
Expeditions were JJ1CAS/JD1, DL/JJ1CAS, KH0/JJ1CAS, JW/JJ1CAS and OH/JJ1CAS.
In the near future, I wish to try my operation from your country. My Motto is
¡°Let¡¯s enjoy the ham life peacefully both on the air and the ground.¡±
My
apparatus features YAESU FT-990 Transceiver and Cushcraft
R-6000 Antenna
15mH. My favorite frequencies are 14 and 21 MHz mainly.
The most wonderful thing in my ham life was that HL YLs joined in ¡°Asian
YL
Meeting¡¯93 in Osaka¡± They are HL1KDW(new one HL2KDW?),
HL1ASD, HL1ALT, HL1AZK, HL1KRR, HL1LAV, HL1KDL., HL1LSQ,
HL1MEZ, HL2IPH. Because, the organizers, Miyo JR3MVF,
Nozomi JH3SQN and I decided to call our
first International YL Meeting in Japan as ¡°Asian YL Meeting¡±,
not as ¡°The International YL Meeting¡± Our hope was
that many Asian YLs would join us. Therefore, you can easily
understand how happy we were with many participants from the neighbor country,
Korea in 1993.
My recent activities are to contact DX YLs and join
the International YL
meetings. I am very pleased to support any International
YL meetings to
announce them to JA Hams on the magazines or to public at any Ham events
in Japan. During the Ham Fair ¡®99 in Yokohama, last August,I distributed
many
pamphlets of the YL2000 in Hamilton to the visitors from the JAIG booth,
as
per attached the picture.
At the beginning of 1998,
JARL invited the public contribution of thesis
which titled as ¡°For the Further Development among JA YL hams¡±. In March,
I
won the prize of my thesis and received the reward amounting
to \50,000,
which surprisingly equaled to the similar amount for
the round trip of
HL-JA. (HiHI)
I am one of the members of JLRS (Japan Ladies Radio Society) which
has 335
members including 24 family one at the moment on July 99. On July
25, 1999,
the 42th Convention was held with 200 members and guests at
Beppu, Kyushu Island,. Every two years, the headquarter has been changed
at each Area. This
time, the head quarter has been moved from the southern 6 Area,(Kyushu
Is.)
to the northern 8 Area(Hokkaido Is.). Ms. Masako Izumi JA8AQY newly
became the president until 2001. We make the Party Contests twice
a year, on Phone
every September, and on CW every October. As
any hams can join these
contests, I expect your participation.
Taking this opportunity, I would like to express my deepest appreciation
to
the related HL YLs and OMs for the kindness and hospitality when I
visited
Women¡¯s Center, City Office in Taejon,
the Fusan facilities, the
Independence Hall of Korea in Ch¡¯onan, KWDI and KWI etc. in Seoul,
at the
end of October 1998. At that time, I was the leader
of Ota-City Women¡¯s
Foreign Study trip sponsored by the Equality between women
and men of the
City of Ota, Tokyo, So, I missed the chance of enjoying the radio. But,
Ms.
Chae kindly visited me at the Seoul Hilton Hotel.
Whenever I meet HL YLs, I am very impressed with your friendly, cheerful
and
beautiful smiles, dancing, songs and traditional dresses. I am always
sure
that the HL YLs will be able to organize the most wonderful International
YL
meeting in the near future. I am expecting it as my dream.
At the end, I sincerely hope that our relationship between HL and JA hams
on
the Radio will be further strengthened and developed. Best
wishes to you,
your family and members.
Thanks & 33
