J7 - DOMINICA, NA-101
Pierre,HB9CUA, is active from Nature Island signing J79PAK until Aug 6.
He is working mostly in CW and SSB on 6m but also on 20m, 17m and 15m.

JD1 - OGASAWARA ISLAND, AS-031
Makoto,JD1BLY (JI5RPT), and Yoshihi,JD1BNF (JO1LVZ), will be QRV from
Chichijima (AS-031) from Aug 9-15. Listen for him in CW/SSB and digital
modes on 160m-6m and on 2m via EME and satellite. QSLs via homecalls.
OH0 - ALAND ISLANDS, EU-002
Alexander,OH0/DL4NO, plans to show up from Finstoem on the main island
of the Alands (EU-002) from Aug 10-21. You can find him in CW on the
usual QRP frequencies on 20m, 30m and 40m mainly during his evening
hours. But in first place Alexander is going to spend his holidays. His
station includes a FT-817 and a groundplane. QSLs via his homecall.
OY - FAROE ISLANDS, EU-018
Janusz,OY/SP6IXF, and Mek,OY/SP7VC, plan to hit the airwaves on 160m-2m
from Aug 10-16. Their equipment includes a spiderbeam, a R7 vertical,
an inverted L for 160m and 80m, a 6ele yagi for 6m, a 2M5WL yagi for 2m
and beverages for listening. Amplifiers will be used on all bands.

T6 - AFGHANISTAN
Steven,W7VOA, will stay in Kabul from Aug 8-22. He will try to become
active as T6AD in CW and maybe PSK on 15m/20m/40m running 100 watts
into a G5RV antenna when his time permits. QSLs via K2AU.
3B7 - ST BRANDON ISLANDS, AF-015
Rachid,3B8FQ, has to work again on St. Brandon (AF-015) in August and
plans to show up as 3B7FQ during his spare time. This will be his last
trip there for the next five years. His stay will start during the
second week of August and ends on Aug 30. Rachid operates in SSB/CW on
40m-10m. There is also a chance of another trip to Agalega in November
2009 where he would be QRV as 3B6FQ. His QSL manager is K5XK.
4J - AZERBAIJAN
Gerard,4J/F2VX, and Yannick,4J/F6FYD, will be active from Azerbaijan
mostly in SSB on the HF bands from Aug 11-29.

4W - TIMOR LESTE, OC-148
4W6AL is the call of Al,CT1GPQ, from Aug 7 until Oct 3 (see DXNL 1634).

5B/LZ2HM will be QRV on 2m-160m from Aug 4-11. He will use the special

ENGLAND, SPECIAL EVENT STATIONS
During August Viv,G4PLY, is activating the call GB111HP to honour
OM Harry Patch (GB90WWI) who passed away on July 25 at the age of 111.

MONGOLIA, SPECIAL EVENT STATION
The "Technique Technology College of Mongolia" is celebrating its
85th anniversary and the special event station JU85TTC is on the air
until Sep 31. QSL via JT1DN.
SPAIN, SPECIAL EVENT STATIONS
Following special calls will be active during the Formula 1 Grand Prix
in Valencia from Aug 8-23:
AM5FUV (OP: EC5BZR)
AO5FUV (EA5UB)
AN5FUV (EB5GGB)
EG5FUV (EA5FL)
EH5FUV (EA5GVZ)
Activities will take place mainly on HF. If you work at least three
different stations you may apply for a special award.

THE NETHERLANDS, SPECIAL EVENT STATIONS
The callsign PD55EA can be found on the air from Aug 1-28. They are
celebrating the 55th anniversary of the "Ellert and Brammert" museum
in Schoonoord. PD55EA can be found in SSB and digital modes on 2m, 10m,
20m and 40m. QSLs will be sent via bureau automatically.
