I'm deeply saddened to let you know that one of my closest and dear friends passed away on Fathers Day (2001) while visiting his daughter. Mike and I go back several years, we met on the road in Philly in 1985. In 1997 I coaxed Mike into getting his Ham ticket, I helped him a little although he was a very intelligent person. He was issued the callsign of KF4OME. The day that he passed his Tech exams we left from Portsmouth to Winfield and picked him up a new 2 meter rig at Radio Shack, so we could stay in touch. Very '73 Mikey....
