SSTV on the VHF Amateur Radio Bands

The SSTV pictures below are a sample of the best pictures received on the 2 meter amateur band on a frequency of 145.985 Mhz FM from the Amateur Radio Station aboard the Russian Space Station Mir.

The pictures are being transmitted using the Color Robot 36 Protocol.

These last two pictures were some of the last images broadcast before the crew left Mir to return back to Earth. They will be missed by many Radio Amateurs around the world. They were one of the most active crews on the Amateur Radio Bands.
