Receiver Rack

Receiver rack - and quite a rack it is. Top is a Hammarlund SP-600. This is a very nice receiver made in the late 40's and 50's.

Next is my favorite receiver - a R-390A. I have done nearly all of the recommended modifications to it and have saved its life after a lightening strike tried to kill it. By far, this receiver is the finest mechanical and electrical receiver I have ever owned.

Bottom is the HP signal generator ( one of two I own)

Missing - and normally lives on the very top is the 1940's offering for the hottest receiver of that decade. With nearly 14 watts of push pull audio and remarkable stability - the BC-779B ( sp-200) It is on the bench when this was taken - and you will see it on the bench link.
