This is the
KI4CCZ Repeater page. The main reason I jumped head first is I wanted
to learn about radio repeaters. The only way I know how to learn is first
hand.
The repeater is a GE MASTR II repeater station. The frequency is 444.7
MHz and a PL tone of 118.8 Hz. The repeater is located in Elberton, GA.
It is on a 175 ft tower. This repeater has great coverage through-out
Georgia and South Carolina. As I learn more about repeaters and radios
the repeater gets better.
I have to thank Steve Foster, N4SZ, for the great work he has done on
the repeater. He tuned the radio and duplexers. I have many friends that
have helped me with getting everything ready to put the repeater in operation.
I would like to thank Jeff Fitzpatrick, N2YYP, and Robert Johnson, KE4
GVX, for the help with the taming of the grounds. Also, Jeff Crowell,
KD4AOZ, for the help with the duplexers.
I have learned
alot and still learning. My current project is an extra GE MASTR II I
had sitting around. I am going by the Repeater Builder website and NHRC
GE MASTR II website.
