We had 2 stations on for about
8 hours and
at least one manned for about
18 hours.
We had proven everything we wanted
to test
by 11:30 am Sunday and shut
down then
since we had the first sign
of needed rain in weeks.
(But still waiting for the rain
)
No equipment problems, excellent
weather and
a lot of eyeball QSO's
and great food.
(The support group provided
a full sized refrigerator and
microwave for those late night
snacks and to keep the
watermelons and Ice Cream cold)
Many of the Club members made
some of their
first HF contacts during Field
Day this year
with the comments that "this
is fun". (Goal number 1)
