Well, it's football time in Georgia. And my son Cantrell (number 82) is playing football for the first time.
Here are some photos that my friend Randy McCullough took at their first game.
Oh, Cantrell plays for the North Rome Colts, and they beat the West End Warriors 6-0.
Read what I wrote in the local paper about the whole experience. There are two versions. This one is rather long, and the paper wouldn't run it, so I had to redo it. Here is the shorter version, which actually ran in the paper.

and here is pic of my wife, Vicki and my daughter Barrett while at the game.
So okay, I know what you are thinking, "does he ever DO anything"? Why he sure does, he didn't get knocked on his butt one time during the game, and kept the pressure on the offensive line the whole time he was on the field. NO, really, he was up against this big kid, number 70 ... huge boy ... made Cantrell look smallish. Well, Cantrell just dug in and stayed on the boy and kept the pressure on him the whole time. He plays Defensive center, by the way; right there in the middle of all the mayhem. Well there is a game coming up Saturday, and I will get some photos of him then and post them on this site and make sure I get some action pics to share.
Here are some pictures of other games!!!
