There is also a link from the Cottageville / Colleton Co radio site to a site in Walterboro / Colleton Co on 452.975 / 457.975 MHz. The Forestry Service in McCormick County is licensed in the FCC database for 164.925 MHz., which I've seen described elsewhere as a link to Sumter National Forest units. There are several licenses are in the FCC Pending database for Forestry channels and repeaters at a location in Patrick / Chesterfield County. This location may be a new Forestry radio site ... I didn't note the location among current licenses. 159.360, S.C.F.S. LIASON WITH GA. There are four SC Forestry sites licensed for 159.360. They are all in counties along the SC / Ga border. My own files also record the following SC Forestry channels: 159.270 (203.5) Forestry Repeater Chester County 159.300 (173.8) Forestry Aircraft "Piedmont Dispatch" At one time, SC Forestry was divided into three geographic regions. The Piedmont region, based in Newberry, covered the Upstate SC counties. 159.315 (107.2) Forestry Repeater Abbeville County 159.345 (179.9) Forestry Repeater Union County (most of the traffic I hear on this repeater is from Spartanburg County units) 159.375 (173.8) Forestry Repeater "Piedmont Dispatch" primary 159.420 (88.5) Forestry Repeater ??? (this repeater is likely at Spartanburg or Newberry. I only hear it when the morning weather report is broadcast, and it is a multicast of the York County repeater on 159.255 MHz.)
