QST Hello net surfers, this is Brian kf4hav. My qth is conway, sc. I am a general class operator. I work cw, ssb and fm. Although I do not visit regularly anymore the SC ssb net is still on at 7:00 p.m. Eastern standard time every night on 3.915 mhz. Since I received a yaesu vx-6r handheld for Christmas I always have 2 meter, 220, and 440 mhz capability with me at all times. I listen to the w4gs repeaters regularly and participate in the following nets.

• Greater pee dee 2 meter net on 146.745 every night at 9:00 P.M. EST
• Grand Strand Amateur Radio Club 440 net Tuesday night on 444.675 (pl 85.4) at 8:00 P.M. EST
• Grand Strand Amateur Radio Club 2 meter net Thursday on 145.110 (pl 85.4) at 8:00 P.M. EST
• Grand Strand Amateur Radio Club 2 meter net Sunday on 145.110 (pl85.4) at 8:00 P.M. EST

I also like computer programming. I am knowledgeable in C++, c, java, BASIC, and visual basic. I am also trying to learn how to write java scripts, and php scripts. Aside from programming I can make repairs to computers like replacing hard drives, sound and graphics cards etc. I have also custom built computers for others from the ground up.

I graduated from Conway High School on June 5, 1998. After high school I attended Coastal Carolina University where I received my bachelors degree in computer science with a minor in math. After attending CCU I obtained my master degree in business from winthrop university. Now I am currently working part time for a local land development company as the resident technical support person.
