Gateway keying circuits

The Rigblaster M8 makes for a great keying interface for the Echolink / eQSO gateway.  All that needs to be done is find the PTT and ground lines from the RJ45 cable and connect them to the AF Keying pins inside the ULI case.  Also connect a 25 pin serial cable from the Rigblaster to the computer.  That's all there is to it.

I use this type of interface, and it works great.  The keying from the Rigblaster and the ULI board are quite quick.

Another keying circuit that is quite effective is this basic circuit that uses 2-1N4148 diodes, 1-2.2K resistor, and any FET-N transistor.  This is much cheaper than Rigblaster.
