Welcome to my amateur radio website! I am located in Harrodsburg, Kentucky in grid square EM77. I am active on 6 meters, 2 meters, and 440 MHz simplex and repeaters. (See below for a list of local frequencies that I usually monitor.) As soon as I get a tower up, I'll be getting on HF! My sons, Chris (KI4FTX) and Mike (KE4YUC), are active in ham radio and live nearby. We have mobile, base, and/or portable capability on 2m/70cm as well as mobile/base capability on 6M, so we're ready for pretty much any situation. I help maintain the 146.655 (negative offset, 100Hz PL) repeater in Harrodsburg which provides excellent handheld coverage for all of Harrodsburg. I am active with emergency communications support when called upon. I enjoy woodworking, household repairs, gardening, and, of course, electronics. Please have a look around my site and enjoy. See you on the air!
