Every two years the ARRL full members in each of these Divisions elect a Director and a Vice Director to represent them on the League's Board of Directors. The Board determines the policies of the League, which are carried out by the Headquarters staff. A Director's function is principally policymaking at the highest level. Each division's Director and Vice Director represent their Division on ARRL policy matters. If you have a question or comment about League policies, contact your representatives at the addresses shown on your Division's page. The 15 Divisions of the League are arranged into 70 administrative Sections (listed by Division, below), each headed by an elected Section Manager (SM). (Many sections consist of entire states; some states have more than one section. The Division pages list their counties.) Your Section Manager is the person to contact--for your SM's address, see your Division page--when you have news about your activities, or those of your radio club. These news items could find their way into the pages of QST! To find out what ARRL Division and Section your city is in, you can use the ARRL city/state locator. Official ARRL Badges can be ordered for Division appointees, Section appointees, QSL Bureau Managers/Workers, Technical Advisors, Volunteer Counsels, Volunteer Consulting Engineers, Volunteer Examiners, ARRL Monitoring System appointees, Awards Managers, DXCC Field Reps, Educational Advisors, Registered Instructors and Life Members. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Atlantic Division (Delaware, Eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland-DC, Southern New Jersey, Northern New York, Western New York, Western Pennsylvania) Central Division (Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin) Dakota Division (Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota) Delta Division (Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee) Great Lakes Division (Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio) Hudson Division (Eastern New York, New York City-Long Island, Northern New Jersey) Midwest Division (Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska) New England Division (Connecticut, Maine, Eastern Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Western Massachusetts) Northwestern Division (Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Eastern Washington, Western Washington) Pacific Division (East Bay, Nevada, Pacific, Sacramento Valley, San Francisco, San Joaquin Valley, Santa Clara Valley) Roanoke Division (North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia) Rocky Mountain Division (Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Wyoming) Southeastern Division (Alabama, Georgia, Northern Florida, Southern Florida, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands) Southwestern Division (Arizona, Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Santa Barbara) West Gulf Division (North Texas, Oklahoma, South Texas, West Texas) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Page last modified: 10:33 AM, 13 Jan 1998 ET Page author: [email protected] http://www.arrl.com/divisions/ lets go back to the front now
