Jack's Personal Home Page

I'm 48 years old, married to a wonderful lady, and living in Millington, TN, at the moment. I work for one of the 5 greatest organizations on Earth, and have been with them for most of my adult life. The only bad thing about that is they make me move every few years. But hey! I've gotten to see more of the world than anybody I went to high school with, so it isn't all bad!

I have 3 wonderful kids, 1 terrific stepson, and Noah our Chihuahua. The youngest son lives with me, and my oldest son lives with his mother (my ex) in Montgomery, AL. I have one daughter out on her own; she has her associate degree and is in the Army Reserves. My stepson is KD5WDX and lives in Marietta, MS. He is an LPN working on his RN/masters, but one step at a time. I don't get to see them as much as I would like because of the long drive, but I still love the heck out of all them.

I volunteer with the American Red Cross (Communications Coordinator and Health and Safety Instructor), and am a storm spotter with the National Weather Service Sky Warn program. I help with the Boy Scouts with the youngest son and also as a merit badge counselor. I’ve also trained with the Mississippi Search and Rescue Association (MSARA). My hobbies include bicycling, hiking, reading, amateur radio, piddling with electronics repair, camping and woodworking. My wife, Suzette (Suzy) is KD5YB5. She’s working on her license upgrade.

I love to build things that I can call my own. Unfortunately my woodworking is kind of taking a slow go because we don’t have a craft center on this base, but I am slowly getting back into it. Soon, I'll post some photos here so that folks can laugh at them, or print them out for dart-board backing. Till then, you'll just have to guess! Jack
