Well here is just one of the many things to come. Just a little about me to let you know who I am. I'm just a nut in a nutty world trying to make things work.
I work for a company that installs foreground music in restaurant and retail stores for your listening enjoyment while shopping or dining out. Just a few of the places that I have done are Dammon's in Waco, The Cheese Cake Factory in Houston and too many stores to mention. I have been lucky over the past few years to have found this job and enjoy it and the people that I work with. The owner of the company and I have become very good friends and we not only work together we also play together whether it be ham radio or going out to lunch we seem to have a lasting friendship.
Check out some of the other locations that there is music in and also listen to some good sound files here at AEI Music
I have many interest one of them being ham radio. I do like to get on the air and have a nice rag chew with someone in some far off and distance land even thought somedays it seems to be across town. Talk about real DX. I have only had my license for a short time, but I have upgraded to extra in only the three years that I have been on the air. I run HF mobile quite often and somedays I get to play on the station here at the house. My wife and I have tried hard to set up a quality station here. Along with HF we also have 2 meters fm, packet, and ssb. There is a 6 meter fm station set up and hope to have ssb up and running in the near future.
I have only been married for a short time, but Wendy is the best person that I have ever met. She lets me play pretty much when I want to. Whether it is on the radio or out fishing she tries to understand and somedays she jumps in there with me. She is great!
