A little about this site I'm a relatively newly minted General license operator (2018) operating in the Denver Colorado metro area. With an extensive background in IT and an interest in emergency communications and self-reliance, I'm exploring integrating radio with computers. As I write this we are at the solar minimum, so digital modes are especially interesting, as is integration with portable Linux based systems (Raspberry Pi and Android).
