A Wonderful
Dream

After my dear mother, Sylva Rossman, "passed away", in December 1954, 1 was having a hard time dealing with the fact that she was gone from me forever I had always lived quite close to my parents and could visit them often. The last nine years of mother's life, I lived in our house that we built on a lot, purchased from my parent's property. Mother's health hadn't been very good for several years, due to heart trouble.
Because we lived so close, I could go over almost every day and "help out" with the house cleaning, laundry and cooking. Naturally we formed a very close "bond" and I missed her terribly.
After several weeks of "grieving" and severe headaches, I had a wonderful dream. I dreamed that I was over at my parent's home. In the dream, I knew that mother had died and I was in the kitchen, talking to dad. I was standing by the sink and looking out the south windows. All at once, an angel, in the form of my mother, appeared floating down from the sky. She just emerged right through the kitchen wall and said to me, "Loraite, please don't worry anymore, everything will be all right". The angel then left and floated back up into the sky.
After that, I "awoke: and had the warmest feeling and felt my mothers’ presence. From that time on, I "accepted" my mother's death and whenever I think of the "dream" I get a warm feeling and know that mother is watching over me.
That "dream" was the most wonderful experience of my life. It seemed so real! Now, when I feel "blue" or "downcast" for any reason, I remember that dream and it gives me the courage to go on with my life. I feel so "blessed" to have had that experience.
