The 6T9 Transmitter has been featured in a number of ARRL textbooks including the Handbook, and "How to become a Radio Amateur". It is based on the 6T9 compactron tube which houses a triode and a pentode in the same envelope. The original design used plug in coils for 80 and 40 meter operation. This modified version is bandswitched and covers 30 or 40 meters. |
