International Camporee 2002 Costs

The registration fee for the International Camporee in 2002 is $225 (last time I checked anyway, check the Camporee requirements page for exact details). The location is some 1800 miles away. These things add up, but please know this --- If you are committed to going we do not want you to be left out because of cost. The more committed attendees we know of, the more fund raising activities we can plan. This can be done. Let me know your thoughts.

A significant part of the cost of attending the International Camporee will be simply getting there. I found out recently that the Internation Camporee coordinators have a "transportation committee" which will take care of getting attendees to camp from the Calgary International airport (and back again). So if we can just get to Calgary we should be ok. Your fundraising should include the cost of flights to Calgary from Dallas.
