  I couldn't find a nice "vintage style" radio cabinet for my Yaesu FT-890AT like I wanted. So I made one from red oak. I stained it with oak and highlighted the wood grain in black. I made the sides with louvres for air circulation and I finished it with three coats of polyeurethane. The radio face is lighted with three 12-volt DC lamps powered from the 30-amp DC power supply. |
